Greenbank Farm’s 2018 Harvest Faire

  • Located at Greenbank Farm (765 Wonn Rd. Greenbank, WA 98253 United States)

  • Time: 12pm-5pm

  • Cost: Free!

Get ready for a day of food trucks, live music, antique cars, arts and crafts, local produce, wine, and more! Located on the beautiful grounds of Greenbank Farm (built in 1904!), the Harvest Faire is all about celebrating Whidbey’s rich farming heritage and community. Haunting of Coupeville

  • Located at: Around Coupeville

  • Cost: Most events are free

During the month of October, Coupeville is home to some spooky, haunted happenings! In addition to events on specific days, you’ll find “silent sentinels of fall” take up post around the town, and you can pick up a map and vote for your favorite characters at Chamber offices or at the Coupeville library. Sherman’s Haunted Barn & Hay Bale Maze

  • Located at Sherman’s Haunted Barn at 46 S Ebey Rd, Coupeville, WA 98239

  • Haunted Barn is family friendly during weekdays 3-6pm, open weekends 10am-11pm (haunting after dark)

October 21

Apple Day and the Mutt Strut

  • Located at Whidbey Island’s Historic Bayview Corner, 5603 Bayview Road, Langley

  • Time: 10am-2pm

  • Cost: Free

The main attraction of the day is, of course, the Dog Parade & Costume Contest! Dress up your pooch and parade them in front of the town, with registration beginning at 11am. The day also includes apple pressing and tasting stations—get ready to drink some fresh, delicious cider!


October 26-27

Haunted Fort

  • Located at Fort Casey State Park 1280 Engle Rd. Coupeville, WA 98239

  • Time: 6:30pm-10pm

  • Cost: $8 per person, $30 for a family up to six people

October 27

Halloween Torchlight Parade

  • Costume Contest is right before the parade at Cook’s Corner Park

  • Time: 4:45pm Costume Contest; 5pm Parade

  • Cost: Free!

Dress up in costume or come as you are for this family-friendly parade! Enjoy seeing everyone’s creativity as downtown merchants pass out fun surprises for everyone.


October 28

Trick or Treat Bike Ride

  • Located at Fort Ebey State Park 400 Hill Valley Dr. Coupeville

  • Time: 1pm

  • Cost: Free

October 29

Coupeville's Great Pumpkin Race

  • Located at 908 Alexander St. in front of the Island County Historical Society Archives and Museum

  • Time: 1pm

  • Cost: Free

Put wheels on your painted pumpkins and get ready to race ‘em down the street! Come out to see all of the unique creations and see which speedy squash comes in first. Click here for all of the details!

Langley Spooktacular

  • Located in Downtown Langley

  • Time: 2:30-5pm

  • Cost: Free

Get ready for an afternoon of trick-or-treating with the whole town! Merchants are dressed up in costumes and ready to hand out treats to little ones at this family-friendly community event.

November 2

Día de los Muertos Celebration

  • Located at the Oak Harbor Library at 1000 SE Regatta Dr, Oak Harbor, WA 98277

  • Time: 3:30-5:30pm

  • Cost: Free

Ideal for ages 5 and up, this exciting afternoon is filled with Mexican crafts and a family-friendly movie. Wear your best calavera or Catrina costume!
